In the fall of 2019, while living and working in Silicon Valley, we realized that money and possessions did not give us lasting joy. We set out on a journey to travel around the world in search of the secrets of living the “good life”.

Dalton was born in Beijing China. His family left China in the early 90s and immigrated to Canada as refugees. Life as a teenaged new immigrant did not allow him to finish high-school; however, learning became his passion later in life. Dalton has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Juris Doctorate degree and a Master’s degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Dalton loves history and culture. He is world-schooling to learn about local history and customs rarely found in textbooks.
Angela was born in Hong Kong and immigrated with her family to Vancouver, Canada in the early 90s. Before she started world-schooling, she built a successful career in Human Resources management working with leading technology companies from Microsoft to rising Startups in Silicon Valley. Angela had been passionate about travel since an early age. She is responsible for spreading the travel bug to the family. Food is Angela’s source of inspiration. Learning about local ingredients, recipes and techniques is at the center of her world-schooling experience.
Norah was born in Hong Kong in 2015. She had her first intercontinental flight at 3 months old. Before she started world-schooling, she had lived in 4 countries on 3 continents. Norah is a gifted ukuleleist and linguist. She speaks Spanish, English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Norah has a broad spectrum of interests. She loves to draw and dance; she enjoys learning about plants and animals; reading and swimming are her favorite activities. Making friends around the world is Norah’s most treasured experience of world-schooling.
